Mouth Of The Tyne Festival
James will be headlining the Mouth Of The Tyne Festival on Saturday 10th July at Tynemouth Priory and Castle Pier Road,Tynemouth. The Mouth of the Tyne Festival is a two-day celebration of world-class street theatre, live music and special one-off performances on both sides of the River Tyne and James’ appearance will be a highlight for one of the North East’s biggest music celebrations. Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday (Feb 26) and we’ll be putting up box office details for you here first thing Friday morning so check back with us.
Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts - pre-order the charity single now
James and some of the biggest names in UK and American music have joined forces to record an emotive cover of the REM classic 'Everybody Hurts', to raise money for charities supporting the relief efforts in Haiti. The line up of featured artists is; Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Jon Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, Kylie, Rod Stewart, Alexandra Burke, Miley Cyrus, Take That, Joe McElderry, Cheryl Cole, JLS, Mika, Michael Bublé, James Blunt, James Morrison, Susan Boyle, and Westlife. James Records Charity Single For Haiti Appeal
James has just finished a session in the studio contributing vocals to the Haiti charity single, originated after a call from Gordon Brown to Simon Cowell.
He joined forces with an incredible array of amazing singers to complete a stunning version of REM's 'Everybody Hurts' , which will be released in the UK on Feb 7th.
James said of the experience:
"Hey people today was an amazing day. Ordinary for some maybe, but none the less it's the start of something amazing. Today I took part in one of the most meaningful things I've ever done with my ability to deliver a tune!!!!!!!. I layed my vocals down on "Everybody Hurts". What a song! . I've listened to this song so many times but it never fails in connecting you to your core emotions, of what you feel. I've gotta say how great everyone sounds. To be a part of something so huge, not only because of the great caliber of artistes involved, but because of the cause and what this record can achieve. I'm so proud. I'm grateful for my opportunity to help in some way. many of you will have seen footage of the tragedy that's happened in Haiti , and can only imagine the loss. You can help in your own way by making sure you all buy a couple of copies of the song coz all the money raised goes to the Disaster Emergency Center (DEC)which fund 9 charity groups that are already there doing there bit, so you do yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm back at home now feeling pretty lucky to have my family. As disfunctional as they are, I loves em all.. I'll be keeping you posted on the next album but for now bye bye and listen out for me on the record I had a killer part.

A Day At The Races with James - 2 new live shows announced
James has announced fantastic summer shows at 2 of the UK's most famous racecourses - Epsom Downs and Newmarket
Both events will encompass a fun evening of thrilling adrenalin fuelled racing followed by a headline performance from James in the exciting outdoor setting of the famous race courses. These shows are 2 of only 4 UK gigs James has announced so far for 2010.

Dubai International Jazz Festival
James has announced he will headline the closing night of the annual Dubai International Jazz festival on February 19th. The Day 10 day event first began in 2003 and is now an annual icon featuring world-class artists and performers covering all genres of Jazz music as diverse as blues, funk, swing, acid, rock, contemporary, modern, and fusion. James will perform on the final night at Dubai's Media City Outdoor Amphitheatre joined by rising star Brett Dennen, the sensual Laura Izibor and Marion Meadows. TICKET PRE SALE FOR SUMMER 2010
James will only be undertaking a handful of UK shows next year as he starts to write and record album 3. We are happy to announce that he’s just been confirmed to play a couple of gigs as part of the Forestry Commission’s Live Music Summer shows in July. He loves the spectacular woodland locations and has previously played some memorable shows there. We have a small allocation of tickets reserved for fans. TIckets go on general sale Friday 18 December 2009 at 9am, but you can buy them from the official store from 9:30am Thursday 17 December 2009.

End Of The Tour - We Hope You Enjoyed!
James played the last show of his UK tour and his last live show of 2009 last night in Brighton, England. It has been quite a year, so many shows, show many countries, wherever you've seen him we hope you enjoyed it. He has been thrilled to play in front of so many of you and says says:

Celebrating my beautiful daughter's 1st birthday, getting through the 'difficult' 2nd album with such a positive response from everyone, playing so many great shows with my incredible band, including the Wembley show with Nelly, and all the amazing support you have given me.
